Steve O’Hear at Techcrunch Europe reports that Populis, the european firm formerly known as GoAdv, today has announced that it’s acquiring for €6 million Blogo, the italian blog network owned by the Italian web publisher DADA (RCS MediaGroup) that operates in Europe and South America.
The “thematic blog network” consists of over 250 bloggers who cover 70 niches spanning subjects such as automotive, sport, finance and the arts. It targets the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Brazil, boasting around 100 million page views a month, says Populis, citing Nielsen stats as of November 2010.
Less than a year ago, in february, Populis had already acquired Blogosfere, another big italian blog network.
